Best Happy Hours in Atlanta, GA

I recently read a tweet on my Twitter account that said "having a healthy social life cost a pretty penny". One of my better qualities is my ability to save money...everywhere! I've compiled a list of some of my favorite places to go for discounted drinks and food in my hometown of Atlanta, GA. I intend to keep adding to this list so go ahead and bookmark this page. By the time you've tried one of them a new place will be added!

RA Sushi Bar

RA is my favorite place for Happy Hour! RA has an everyday Happy Hour menu between the hours of 3-7 pm and then 7- 10 pm with some of your favorite classic drinks including Comos, Lemon Drop Martinis and Margaritas. Various Japanese Tapas and Sushi’s are also discounted on the Happy Hour menu.

Tom, Dick & Hanks

Living in Atlanta I am no stranger to good, home-style southern food. When I say that Tom, Dicks and Hanks has some of the best Southern cuisine it’s not an exaggeration. Luckily, they have a Happy Hour from 4-8 pm Mondays – Fridays that includes 5.00 drinks and a choice of five meals. What I like about here their drinks are what I called "silent killers" - very smooth, sweet and tasty going down but still very strong!

Escobar

Escobar makes the list because they have different daily specials. Personally, I think Wednesday has the best deals so grab your #WCW and head to Escobar to enjoy 5.00 shots, cocktails and appetizers. Are you a Hookah lover? If so, it doesn’t hurt that Hookah’s are discounted to 10.00 on Wednesday! Valet parking cost 10.00 so it may be beneficial to Uber / Lyft!

Escobar also has Saturday and Sunday brunches that I really enjoy. You can get unlimited Mimosas for 20.00 and the food is amazing.

The Oceanaire Seafood Room

Oceanaire has a Happy Hour weekdays from 4-7 pm that includes discounts on wines, cocktails, and small plates! If you visit on a Sunday and sit at the bar they will give you 1.00 Oysters from 5 pm to close!

Bad Daddy’s Burger Bar

Bad Daddy’s has a few locations around Atlanta including one in Roswell and my favorite the North Decatur location. There happy hour is weekdays between 3-6 pm. My favorite days are Monday’s and Thursdays because Monday’s are 5.00 BAD ASS Margaritas – and they really are BAD ASS! On Thursdays you can get any 20 oz beers for the price of a 16 oz and 4.00 craft cans.

If you are following the Keto or Paleo diet they have delicious items that will keep you from cheating your diet!

Ten ATL

What’s the saying – Best things come in 10? Okay, I totally made that up but TEN offers 10.00 hookahs, 10.00 bottles of wine…before 10 pm every day. They are near Edgewood so next time you are bar hoping around Edgewood make sure to stop at Ten before 10:00 pm.

Cru Hookah Lounge

Who watches The Real Housewives of Atlanta? In addition to the Original Hotdog factory; Dennis – Porsha William’s fiancée is the owner of Cru. Cru has daily deals, but my favorite days are Monday and Tuesdays. Monday’s you can get a free Hemp Hookah. Tuesdays you can get 2.00 Tacos, 2.00 Tequila shots and 2.00 Margaritas. Cru is small inside so plan to get their early or to share a table with strangers.

Zinburger Wine & Burger Bar

Located in Buckhead Zinburger has a weekday Happy Hour between the hours of 3-6 pm. Plain and Simple Burgers are 5.00. Fries (zucchini, sweet potatoes, tater tots, and original fries) are half priced. Drinks are discounted to 4.00 for wine and draft beers or 5.00 on Margaritas and other select cocktails.

Red Pepper Taqueria

There are two locations in Atlanta and another in Decatur. All the locations have the same Happy Hour which is 3.00 Lagers and half off appetizers between 4-6 pm on Weekdays. Anytime on Monday’s you can enjoy any Fajita Skillet for 10.00

Senor Patron

Senor Partron located near GA Tech’s campus has a Happy Hour Monday’s – Thursdays from 4-7 pm. 12 oz margaritas and draft beers are $3.50 during Happy Hour. They also have other random daily deals. Unfortunately, there are no food items that are discounted during happy hour.

In the next two weeks the menu will be updated, and new Happy Hour specials are anticipated to be on there.

Simon’s

Simon’s is a fine dining restaurant located in Atlanta, GA. Weeknights you can enjoy discounted appetizers and drinks between 5-7. On weekends you can enjoy discounted drinks from 10- midnight

Suite Food Lounge

Suite Lounge is most commonly recognized for its popular late-night parties as they turn into a club after hours. Suite Lounge is a full restaurant before the parties begin. Happy hour is all night on Wednesdays which includes 10.00 crab leg bucket discounted drinks. They have a Friday happy hour that ends at 8 pm which includes discounted drinks.
